yo yo yo!today my school had the National Day Parade...AND I TOOK PART!!!=)
finally i took part in a parade...
well anyway the paradeers had to stand for a long time in the rising sun
(i don't mean Japan)
then blah blah blah then finally we reached...
THE PERFORMANCES BY THE UNIFORMED GROUPS!!!
first of all was Girl Guides...
they "sang" the song HOME in sign language
even though the song is sleepy
people still love singing
no idea why
me included =)
next up was SJAB
my favourite one =)
besides mine...
guess what
they needed to do
Transportation
Of
Casualty
and before they reached the "patient"...
THEY HAD TO PARKOUR OVER TABLES!!!
i was like a bit jealous for that...
then etc etc etc with the patient then they went to the "ambulance"
and marched out
guess what...
NEXT UP WAS NCC LAND!
we formed up at the side then marched in
was quite shocked to see the number of people looking
cause we were performing at the courtyard
and the audience was standing on the corridors of the junior block
from 1-4 level...
then everyone clapped at us when we entered
(they did that to all ccas)
then we performed a bit of Freestyle Drills etc etc etc
then marched one round around the courtyard
so that the mattresses could come in
then we went to them and started the Unarmed Combat
after every set the audience would applaud...
was so damn happy...
next up was the NCC SEA
they did Freestyle Drill too
only they did it more longer and better than ours
(cause we had to put time in for the Unarmed Combat)
no offence to any of them reading this,
but they cocked up A BIT
i like their ripple lines though...
next up was NPCC
theirs was another one of my favourites
they did drills also
but this time with RIFLES
(obviously fake ones)
i was quite amazed that the audience
didn't clap as much as i thought they would
as their drills were nice
during rehearsal i always watched them and clapped...
last but not least was the Warrior Scouts
or Boy Scouts. whichever.
they first catapulted a scarf with a ball
one of them caught it
then passed on to another one then he rode a "stretcher"
to one pole and climbed it
(the pole was supported by about 6 people)
then he hooked the scarf onto the pole and climbed down
then he took a torch and ignited a campfire-like thingy
saw that some soot went into his eyes
(he then got treated after the performance)
then he was escorted out and finish...
then the audience was told to got o the hall for Talent Time etc
i changed then bought a drink,drank it and went to the hall
was just in time to watch the Talent Time finals
there was...
Streepmax(dancing group)
S.A.D (singing group, 2 singers 1 electric guitarist)
Wei Da(THE YOYO MASTER)
Happily Ever After(singing group, 1 singer 1 guitarist)
1 singing group which i don't know their name(1 singer,3 guitarist 1 keyboarder)
in the end the yo-yo master came in first
he appeared 3 times on stage
(one for his finals,1 encore and 1 during the finale)
then there were guys on stage "worshiping" him...LOL
then sang a few songs
etc etc etc
then we were dismissed!
(was about 9.45am)
went back to Wellington for a while but since no one there
i went to Sun Plaza to meet my family etc etc etc
then here i am right now typing this post...
TODAY WAS ONE OF THE BEST AND FUN DAYS EVER!!! =)=)=)=)=)=)=)
